I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.~*~Hugs~*~

Cindy, I was so glad to your post tonight. I was thinking the other day that it's been an awfully long time since I have seen you post. I'm glad you are doing well. Take care and don't be a stranger.

Cindy, hang in there! Stay off the scales. Measure instead. You have probably already lost a ton of inches. Measure your neck, biceps, elbows, wrist, bust, waist, hips, thighs, knees, calves and ankles. Measure at least once a month. I am a slow loser, too. I have lost only 67 lbs.in almost 6 months, but I have lost 85 inches! You're doing just fine. Nita

Hi Cindy. I am almost 7 wks. post op and I know what you are saying when you are talking about the depression. I had it for about 4-5 wks. I was so bummed all the time and did a lot of crying. Today I actually felt the best that I have so far. I felt stronger and more upbeat and it was a great feeling. I hope it sticks around. I have to go back to work on Monday and now I think I am ready. I've lost 53 lbs. so far. I eat very slow and tonight I tried salad with my cottage cheese and did ok. I eat very little though. Protein is a problem for me too. I ordered the Real Meals protein shakes to try. I've heard they are not bad and I have to do something. I'm getting worried. Anyway, I hope you start feeling better and hang in there. It does get better each passing day. I had open RNY on Nov. 19th with my gal bladder also removed. Its been pretty rough, but I know it will be worth it in the long run..OH>>>I crossed my legs today!!!! WAHOO! I hadn't done that in years..lol. Keep smiling!

Cindy, Don't cry!!!! LAUGH!!!! You're on the losing side...and you're LOSING!!! You have to learn to roll with the punches because you may hit a plateau or two and it takes patience and determination to deal with them. I'm just coming out of one that lasted 2 weeks with NO weight loss! So toughen up a little....YOU ARE GOING TO DO GREAT!!!! It is understandable though because after surgery I was a bundle of emotion and you probably are too. Hang in there, it does get better hon! HUGS!!! Carol Percel
