Surgeon: Matt Bosquez, M.D.
I liked Matt Bosquez the moment I met him, when I had a appendectomy 2 years ago. Just recently I found that he had moved from Warren Clinic to private bariatric surgery. I also like his wife. She is helpful and concerned and works in the ofice. They are a Christian family. I feel peaceful in their office. They seem to spread their appointments out appropriately. I would rate him very good overall. He was happy to answer my questions and seemed genuinely concerned about my welfare. I highly value surgical competence and bedside manner. He has 25 years surgical experience and has completed hundreds ( I think about 300 as of Sept 2002) of Roux-en- y surgeries. He was a partner with Dr. Gorospe before he went on his own and Dr. Gorospe is also a well know bariatric surgeion in the area, but seems a bit to busy for me.

United helath care was a breeze. They must have some heavy people in charge, because they seem to really have the program understood and they approve quickly.
