Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.

Lisette, I wish you all the best in getting your insurance approval and having your surgery done. I understand what you are going through and I will keep you in my prayers. I am from Bangor, Pa. and I had my surgery on Nov. 29th. It has been 8 months for me and as of 2 weeks ago I have lost 137 lbs. I am getting weighed again on Monday and I hope it is more. My family doc is Dr. Brotzman in Wind Gap. I have had no problems since my surgery and have never felt better in my life. I wish all good things for you. Hang in there. It will happen for you, too. We have a local support group in the area for pre and post ops. It is wonderful. We just meet and talk. It's very informal. We meet the second Monday of every month and we happen to be meeting this Monday, July 8th. If you are interested-let me know. Just click on my name and it will take you to my profile where you can get my e-mail adrress. I believe we are from the same area since I saw that your doc is Sheila Borick from Wind Gap. Again, best wishes to you. Roseann Finken
