Hi everyone.. I'm home in Hawaii now.. I just wanted to thank everyone again for their prayers and well wishes.. it really means alot to me to read them all... I'm doing great and don't feel bad at all... my insision hurts a little but that's to be expected... thanks again for all the support.

Hello, I am not Roni's official angel, but I just want to let you know that Roni got out of the hospital today. She is doing very well. Roni says she feels great. It is unbelievable, she had open RNY only five days ago and she is ready to hop on a plane home tomorrow evening. Roni is staying the night with a woman in Orange County, California and my husband and I will be taking her to the airport tomorrow afternoon. I'm sure she can't wait to get home and start living her new life. Roni, I want to wish you the very best. Keep your wonderful attitude and sense of humor.

I went to visit Veronica Morris from Hawaii yesterday in the hospital she is in California having surgery & her husband is in the military & will not be back until April 2003. I thought it would be nice to go visit since she is from out of town & didn't have people to visit often. She had surgery on Monday & looked wonderful lots of color & had been up walking & using her beathing tube many times during the day. She was dehydrated yesterday so they hooked her up to more I.V. bags to get it under control. Her nurses were with her while I was there & they seemed to be very attentive & nice. It was great to meet her & I wish her all the best. Cindi

YAYYYYYYYY Veronica! I am so glad to hear you were able to proceed with your surgery today! You just focus on your recovery and get up and walk around as often as you can, breathe some deep breaths, and sip your water sssllowwly (when you finally get it).
