I am 25 year old mother of one (2 1/2 little boy"Drew").. I have my first appt. on Oct. 24, 2002 @ Georgetown Clinical in KY... I have HBP, HC, arthritis in my knees and can't walk 25ft without shortness of breath, My wt. is 400+lb.. I want to enjoy things with my son and be able to ride a bike or take a walk with him ! I don't want him to be made fun of because he has a FAT mommy!! So many things!! I want OFF all my medication!!! I want to be HEALTHY!!

Sorry it has been so long I just now figured out how to update my page..duh.. Anyway I went for my first appointment Oct. 24 and everything went GREAT. All the info was submitted to my insurance 3 days later and I was approved Nov. 4.. OMG.. I can't believe it. I am sooo excited .. d-day is Dec. 20,2002. I know it is so close to christmas but I am so ready for this!!! If anyone is reading this page send me some hugs and support.

Hey everyone my surgery went GREAT and I went back to the Doc for my 2 week visit on 1-2-02 and I had lost 26.1 lbs ..WOHOOO!! I am so amazed!! I thank God for the change in my life! Words could never express how I feel! May God Bless you all on your journey! Lots of HUGS!!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while..Well I am proud to say it has been 4 months since my surgery and I have lost 70 pounds!!!!!YEAH!!!!Everything is going great and I would do it all again!!God is so good to me and has blessed me beyond words in life and this just adds to the many things I am thankful for. If anyone has any questions or concerns feel free to email me!! May God bless!!

Hello everyone.. just an update to let you know things are going great!! I have now lost 114lbs and feel GREAT!!
