I'm a cardiac patient and already had cardiac bypass surgery 2 years ago. I sure hope this influences the insurance company. Now I am having trouble getting around - sore, achy knees. Have an appt. 6/10. Can't wait!! Anyone else out there with experience of past cardiac history, let me know if you had much difficulty getting approved.
7/26/2003 I had surgery on 7/21, came home 7/23 and am feeling incredibly well. Gained 6 lbs while in the hospital, but it and 6 more have already come off. I experienced slight nausea, but that was about all. I intend to return to work on Monday, the 28th, so thought I would use this time to power rest. Wrong idea! The more I rested and laid around the more nauseous and gassy I felt. I am still getting my rest but get up and walk around at least every 30 mins. Feels much better.

Dealing with them was a breeze. It was only approximately 10 days from the time of submission until a letter was received at my home and my surgeon. I never called and bothered them (although I probably would have within a few weeks). I am very fortunate to have this insurance. My surgeon's office submitted all of the paper work. They are very good at this.
