Doing well, eating 3 to 4 ounces 3 times a day. Pretty much have a protein shake every working day. Still having trouble getting in enough exercise. I walk 4 days a week, but when I get home in the evenings I am pooped! It is really hard for me to cook for my family and not really be able to eat all the same things they do. My dh has been great about cooking for us lately. According to my scales, I have lost 28 pounds. Awesome.

July 2
Still having no major problems. My belly will not go away. It is still so pouchy! Have lost 34 pounds now.

I guess I am experiencing my first plateau. I have only lost a pound in the last 2 weeks. I am trying to drink and walk, but it is hot and muggy here in Alabama. Otherwise I am doing great. On a positive note, my pants are getting baggier. I have given away my stuff that fit with room, now I am wearing my smaller stuff!
No problems.

Lost a few pounds now. I am down 40 pounds in 2 months time. To me this is really not quick, but I do not have alot of "flab" around either. Exercise has slacked off due to it being so muggy at the moment. Eating mostly proteins.

Getting in my protein and water without problems. I feel like I can eat too much. I can eat almost a cup at a time. I am being good about what I eat though. Maybe that is why my wl is slow. I am down to 199 pounds!!!! Yeah! Continue to walk 4 days a week. Doing good.

I am 5 months out at this point. Have lost 76 pounds. Not as quick as many but I will take it. I am 35 pounds away from my personal goal. I have a great time meeting and chatting with people on this site. I am Walking away the pounds and getting an ablounge for Christmas. I hit plateaus alot for about 3 weeks then will loose about 6 or 7 pounds. I do weigh every day but am not really critical of it. I am enjoying my life. Have a great day!

Hey all,
I am a slow looser (76 pounds) so far. But that is fine with me. I exercise by Walking Away the Pounds. We did buy an Ab Lounge 2 yesterday to help with my sagging belly. PS for me is out of the question. Cannot afford it and BCBS of AL will deny any coverage for this unless it hangs to your knees. I am eating without any problems. Getting in plenty of protein thru food plus shakes (like AnyWhey no flavor and Roadside Lemonaid Nectar). Feeling wonderful. Moody at times, but that is normal. Husband is very supportive of my weight loss and all that goes along with it. I was always VERY hot natured, now I go hot/cold very quickly. I am so difficult to regulate.
Just wanted to let you all know that I am with you. This surgery has been a blessing for me. I feel so much better. I have 35 pounds til doctor's goal and 45 to my personal goal. I do not have a time frame, but I will get there.

Things are going great. I have eaten more carbs than normal for me but with the holidays that is to be expected. I did not gain any weight so far. Holding on. Still have had no problems. I have lost 93 pounds as of yesterday. I am getting more comments on the weight loss. My response it normally just a smile!

I now have lost 121 pounds. I feel great. Getting over the hysterectomy took more out of me than I expected. Can't wait to start working out to tone up since I have excess skin hanging. Can't afford plastics so it is up to me!!!!!

    Surgeon: Andrew DeWitt, M.D.
First, let me say that Dr DeWitt has a class prior to an appointment with him. I think this is held on a monthly basis. The power point presentation gives a good overview of what the procedure is, and what to expect after. Based upon this class, if you decide this may be a surgery you want to further investigate, you can make an appointment. At the time, I was kind of aggrevated because this is not a quick process. But in looking back, I am glad, because this is LIFE changing surgery. It should be given alot of thought. There is a very intense pre and post care plan that you must follow. It is pretty easy to follow. I feel comfortable enough with the staff to call the office and ask a question. I would use him again. Of course, this is all my opinion.
