Hi Paula - I just read your entire profile - you were so honest and I can see that I am a lot like you. My surgery date is Jan 10. I weigh 316 - clode to your starting weight. How are you doing now? Have you been able to maintain around 180?

Hi Paula, I just want to say that I have been following your progress, and YOU are an INSPIRATION! I am having surgery on May 21st, and it's stories like yours that give me the strength to go forward with this, for a better quality of life! So thank you for sharing it really helps! God bless you!

Paula, I don't know what has come over me, I forgot YOUR I YEAR ANIV...You are AMAZING! Forget about me, look at you. You are my inspiration and what I compare myself to. I hope I am as lucky aas you, although I know LUCK has nothing to do with it! You are half the woman you were before, but, although you lost half of you, you are more than the woman you were before for your experience! I am so proud of you...I would love to see you soon and your new look, PLEASE try to come to Support Group this Thursday (the 20th) so I can see your new little bod. Paula, I saw something you posted on the Q&A page and had to check out your profile because you and I are having our plastic surgery the same day. I had my RNY Sept '01, and I agree that living with the hanging skin much longer would be more than I could take! I hope that everything goes smoothly for you with your reconstruction. I'm so excited to have a body that acurately reflects the work I've put into all this. Good luck on the 24th!

Just checked out your profile, I am truely inspired, you are down a WHOLE PERSON! I hope I am as fortunate as you! Saw Leitman yesterday, he cleared me to work out....I am starting Monday. I am down 45lbs in 9 wks....Good luck!

Congratulations on your weightloss. You are a beautiful person, but you look fantastic in your "loss" photo. Thank you for taking the time to share your journey; it was very helpful.
