Had surgery 3-Nov-99, Dr. Robert Brolin in New Brunswick, NJ. Thus far (16-Aug-99) have lost 103 pounds. I have some of the common side-effects but overall, I am feeling wonderful about my decision. I have a health care background (RN, RRT) so if I can assist anyone with answers to questions or concerns, I'd be happy to.

This is one of the most published bariatric surgeons in the nation. He is a tactiturn man but a wonderful surgeon who truly cares about the issues. I was a high risk patient and yet he acomplished wonderful results, no post-operative problems, and I have lost 103 pounds in 10 months. I absolutely endorse Dr. Brolin, he is the best and I had conducted extensive research prior to surgery.
