Hello everyone- Well I am home. Other than a few minor things everything went well. I am now 6 days out and feeling pretty good. I get alittle tired easy and have a little pain but all in all I'm doing great. I just wanted to say thank you to all my angels....My loving and wonderful husband, my good friend I couldn't live without Lara, and my very bestfriend Jorrie. Thank you for all you did. I also want to thak Terry as well as Diane, and Cj. Your visits were a well needed. Thank you all. I love you-Ann

Hello Everyone. I went to visit Ann last night, and she is looking really good. I was happy to see her more alert and up a little bit more. The doctors took her off her Morphine, thinking that may have been what was causing her fever to spike. They are giving her a shot of something else to manage her pain. I think she was in a little less pain yesterday than she was the first two days. She still has a lot of swelling between the stomach and where they reattached the intestines. Her mom said that they were going to redo the dye test to check for leakage again today, and if everything looks good they will start giving her water, ice and broth. I am sure she is excited about that. Her family is hopeful that she will get to go home Saturday evening. She is doing really great though. Keep up your prayers for her. She really needs them right now. She seems calm and relaxed, but I guess she may be feeling some anxiety wondering if the pain will ever stop. She is a real trooper though, I never hear her complain while I am visiting. I can't wait until Ann is back to her old self again. I love you Ann.

Hi Ann. I just wanted you to know I called on the night of your surgery & the lady at the hospital would not give me any information about you & said you weren't in a room yet. Then I read your husband's update on here & called a couple of times this morning & got busy signals. I didn't forget about you, just haven't been able to connect with you. I'm gonna try to get in touch with you tomorrow. I just want to say I KNEW you'd get through this just fine! PRAISE GOD! The worst is over with & now you just have some healing to do! Can't wait until your back online!-----Love ya, Diane

Hi everyone. I'm Michael, Ann's husband. Just wanted to let everyone know that Ann's surgery went very well. The procedure was routine without any complications thus far. It took between 3 1/2 and 4 hrs to complete the surgery, and she was in recovery for a couple of hours. She finally got to her room around 3 p.m. She's in a LOT of pain, but that's to be expected. Ann told me to tell everyone "hi", and that she'll talk to everyone soon. Her room # is 4124, and the phone # is (615)342-4124. I'm so proud of how strong she's been. Thanks guys. I'll have another update soon.-Michael
