Brenda what is going on baby doll! I miss you! my drain has been a pain but I am up and moving and the drain site is slightly infected but I am just putting peroxide on it and betadine after it is clean..seems to be getting better but it hurts when I cough guess I move it all.. It comes out on Monday... a mere 39 hours....I miss you but I heard that you jaw was dislocated during surgery. and just read your updates... Does not sound positive I bet that lump is just a pus pocket esp if the incision line is draining. I am OK I do not have your e-mail so I'll talk here... was retching the night before surgery from the bowel prep and woke up in recovery doing the same thing. they filled me full of antibiotics and anti emetics to prevent pressure to the stomach incisions that lasted a few days then i really could not tolerate anything except water and had to take meds with gas EX.. e-mail me at [email protected] call me 814-398-2890 Terri in PA today I tolerated OJ from the juicer diluted but finally got some potassium in! i got some thrush in my throat \prolly from choking on the flagyl pre op but the meds for it makes me gag1 LOL kinda of ironic! any way i miss you1 T

Hello OH family! I called Brenda today at the hospital (865-983-7211 room 409) and spoke with Laurie. Brenda had to have open RNY. The anesthesiologist dislocated her jaw while placing the respirator, but they put it back in place last night. Brenda is able to speak today and has been up to walk. Shes having a better day today! Thank heavens!!! Please continue to pray for Brenda and a speedy recovery! God bless! Melanie:wave:

Hi Brenda! Congrats on having your surgery! I bet you feel relieved now. It's over and now you are on the other side and can join the ranks of the losers. Welcome, my friend!!! Happy RE-Birthday to you! From this day forward you life will change forever. Just try to take it easy and remember to sip, walk, deep breathe and cough. These first few days are rough, but I assure you they get better with each passing day.
