Gloria, I know that it is normal to be nervous about the surgery. I guess I was too. I had Lap RYN 4 weeks ago and I feel wonderful! I know open is a little different but I am sue you will sail through this with no complications!!!!!! GOD BLESS

Gloria, my surgery is also May 8th. I'm sure we'll do just fine. There are lots of prayers and well wishes floating around here. Good luck!
