My name is Shay. I started at a weight of 267 pounds and I am 15 years old. I love music and hanging out with friends and chilling at school. I have been struggling with weight my whole life. I have never had surgery done before

ok ok today's fathers day sorry haven't been on in forever just been busy. ok soooo umm i got my i think 7th fill on thurday. It's working pretty well i think not fully sure. Cause this is still new to me. But umm yea im at 233 right now soo its good right now i guess. umm yea bye

It has been a very long sense I last posted. But I haven't lost any weight what so ever but I have lost alot from what the measuring is saying and that I am Glad I have had like 3 or 4 fills and still haven't even had a pouch yet so it's still going right through. But I went to las vegas and didnt do so well with my diet and yea but I never gained ANYTHING so that im glad of now. im having troubles with my eating still but slowly gettin better. Tommorow I get ANOTHER fill.. I hate those little f-ers but hey this thing is gotta work sometime. I'm really sorry i haven't posted anything in like ever but i cannot help it when nothings going on nothings going on. But I TRY to keep posted. Today is 3 months post-op.

Well I found out today that i've lost 25 pounds in 20 post-op days!! I am SO proud of myself you don't even know....






Janurary 10th 2006
Today is 1 week Post-Op, I have lost 15 or 16 pounds in 7 Days!!!! I'm So thrilled that I Get These Hella Friggen Annoying stitches off tommorow, there are 6 of them. I hate them SOOO much! My Port stitches were the worse it's been hurting like a mother, and still is when my doctor stitched me up i think way too tight and it made a crease in my skin. I've been sleeping sitting up on my couch for 5 days and the 6th day I finally layed down, but when I woke up I was in a lot of pain, like when the first time i sat up and got ready for my first walk. Yesterday was as you know my 6th day and that was the first day I got up be myself without anyones help to go to the bathroom. Ever sense surgery I have been helped by my mom, she's been helping through everything, like when I'm sitting on the couch kicking back she pulls my arms and lifts me up so i can stand up and she's has been doing everything with me and for me and if it wasn't for her I would probley be in a HUGE amount of pain, probley sitting on the couch probley wet myself because I wouldn't be able to get up by myself, I would be starving and weak and in a lot of pain because of the medicine situation. I Love her with all my heart and SO much more. She is the best mom anyone could ask for she helped me with my pre-op 1 week liquid diet meaning she did it with me, and she has never eatin in front of me after my surgery she will wait till I start eating! On the other hand my brother and dad have!! But I can take it sense my moms always there for me. I haven't excercised tho because I've been REALLY REALLY sore and ya know what sucks the worse? I can't use my stomach muscles for ANYTHING they hurt so bad because of my port and crap. But ya if I ever regreted for having surgery it would be because of 7 pounds I gained before my 1 week pre-op. then I would have lost a little of a lot of weight. But yea that's mainly it. Anyways I'm gonna take a nap so my day will go faster so I can get these damn stiches off and then can start excercising and been more active and go to school again (can ya believe I'm missing it?) I Start Next Tuesday on the 17th! See ya!







Jan 5th
Well It's been 2 Days Since My Surgery, And I Am REALLY SORE, my port which is labeled #5 which Hurts The Worst, and thats the one i'm having most troubles on, meaning its hurting, others are just a little sore but #5 hurts pretty BAD, since my bedroom is upstairs i have 2 go up quite a lot, and im thinking it stretches it, but lemme tell if you thought you hated stairs now you'll DESPIZE them now, Tonight I'm gonna sleep on a Couch downstairs and see how it feels, hopefully, it will be much better than last night. Well I'm Going to go snuggle up with my kitten, Note To Everyone Before surgery make sure they dont have a habit of sleeping on ya's cuz it's painful..

DO NOT LOOK AT THE SCALE AFTER SURGERY!!! I gained all my weight back that i lost it kinda made me depressed! So There is my TIP!!!







December 31 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!
Today is my 5th day of the liquid diet and I have proudly lost 8! Pounds!!! Count them (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8!!!) Pounds!!!!!! Well let me tell you






December 27
Well today was my first day of the liquid diet... Well the night before this I had my last full dinner with my parents I went to a Thai food restaurant it was Delish!!! I stayed up till midnight eating food and I wasn't even Hungary!! Lol Yea I wanted to treasure the moment of no more good food! But anyways I went for my pre-op and my dad was in a bad mood because we are low on money because we paid ourselves for the surgery... and so Christmas just got done and a whole bunch of bills but yea moneys real tight. But yea the first drink I had was Chocolate milk lol my bad I forgot to drink it last night so my mom was like GUZZLE IT!! So I did and I didn’t even get to enjoy it... but anyways it was along ride home sense i’m on my liquid diet I had to go to the bathroom really bad so I suggest that you go to the bathroom before you leave and then again then middle of the car ride there then when you get there then after and then once more then on the middle of the way home then you wont have to go as bad as I did that only if you have more than a 2 hour car ride there and then the way back because I had to go BAD!!! Well i'm going to go because I got to do some chores I mite right back later today or tomorrow!!





December 24
Christmas Eve just opened a few presents from my Oma's (grandmas) got a lot of stuff that I can do in the future like some planner stuff and gift certificate for Ben Franklins $30 Yay and a watch that doesn’t fit.. Sadly... it will soon though and a scarf and candy last candy for ever though till the 27th so 2 more days... oh darn but it will be SOOO worth it but still i’m a kid so it really means a lot ...but anyways before I get depressed ; p lol and I got this lotion stuff but it's all good I get more tomorrow!!! I’m going to go watch a movie (the fox and the hound) I love Disney movies!!!





December 23
Wow my next appointment with my doctor will be my pre-op and it’s on the 27 so basically Christmas will be my last full meal YAY and BOO lol then I have to go on my liquid diet for a week that I think will be hard because I’ll be starving!!!!!!!! :( Oh well it will be SOOOO worth it! 11 Days left!! Yay! Buddy! I'll make sure I’ll keep posting!!

16 days left and I'm extremely excited! But it’s going so slow!!!! I just realized that the last time I wrote was in fact 10 days ago! Well now i'm just playing the waiting game... sadly... lalalala SO BORED well i'm going to do some homework! Yay...

Wow it’s December 8th, 2005 and its 26 days till my Surgery and i'm SOOOOOOOOOOO excited not even funny. Dr. Oh is my doctor, and he's really nice, I like him a lot!
