Hi Valerie! Just wanted to wish you the best of luck with your upcoming surgery with Dr. Munshi. I'll be doing the same with Dr M later in the month. Hang in there and know people are thinking of you! Good Luck!

I think the whole numbers thing comes from our being so competetive. We don't usually think, "Oh My I just won",no it's "I just beat you by 3 points". The old, "a miss is as good as a mile" syndrome. We need to know by how much we won or lost. So here's to a succssful surgery with a quick recovery so you feel great at 6 weeks. Then you will enjoy your NEW healthy life. Forget the numbers, they will just drive you nuts, all you want is Health. Numbers is probably what made us fat in the beginning. Once we started to gain weight we just didn't know how to live with ourselves so we ate & we ate. Self medicating the legal way..
