Hello it is me again. It has been 1 year and 1 1/2 weeks since my surgery. I have gone from 289 lbs to 110 lbs. I did this is 1 year. I am so proud. I went from a size 24-26 to a size 5/6 in Juniors. I no longer have sleep apena, acid reflux, high blood pressure, and my feet and legs do not hurt me any more. Most of all I have my Self Esteem back. I still have problems eating certain foods, You just learn to stay away from them for a while. I love the new me. It is like I have a new lease on life. If I had to do it again. I most certainly would. I tell everyone about it and I refer them to this Site. It has certainly helped me, and I know it will continue. I see Dr Overcash tomorrow. I do belive I am at the goal weight he wanted me at. I do excercise and swim quite a bit. It has really helped. My family has been there for me all the way too! My husband loves the new me, and sometimes introduces me as his new girlfried. People that hasn't seen me in a while don't even recognize me. I love the new life!!!

October 6, 2002 Hello everyone! I figured it was about time to give an update. I am now down to my goal weight of 110 Lbs. That means I have lost a total of 179 lbs. I acomplished this in 12 months. I used to wear a size 24-26 and now I am down to a Juniors 5/6. I feel so good. It is just so hard to put in words. If I had to do it again, I would. I no longer have sleep apena, my blood pressure is normal, and I no longer have acid reflux problems. My feet and legs don't hurt me anymore either. My friends that haven't seen me in a while, don't recognize me. I am having fun again! It is like a new life. Also I have my self esteem back which really means a lot. The only medications I take is my hormone pills, and my vitamins.
