Hi Aarika S. I am writing to let you know how encouraging your plight was and how it motivated me to take the addittion steps I needed in order to begin my new life. The reason that your journey was important to me is because we have alot in common. I fit the description of your friends you mentioned that was working, had and a family, and in the graduate program. I graduated fall of 2003. Therefore, thank you for posting your story of encouragement.Lissa M. 20 years, 3 months ago

Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).SandiBeach 20 years, 4 months ago
