Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side for a month now. I hope that all went well for you! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 81 pounds!!! Good luck!

Angel coming in , I hope. Tried to update twice already but for some reason its not been doing it. I spoke to Sarah, Patricia's nurse and she told me Everything went great. On Wednesday I spoke to Patricia herself, she sounds wonderful! Little bit of pain but otherwise good. Leak test went well and only thing bothersome right then was the g-tube. Also spoke to her about 5 mins ago an she was getting up to walk about a bit. She is still looking for release this Friday. Thanks Nancy for your update as well.

I just talked to Sandy, ND's nurse, at the hospital who said she had just had a very nice chat with ND ... and reported that ND is doing very well ... whew ... glad to hear it! Sorry, Tina, I couldn't wait any longer for news!! LOL
