My job changed insurances right in the middle of me trying to get approved and instead I was denied. The switch was to Aetna and fter only 1 business day I was approved. Thanks to all the staff at Dr. Goyal's office. They are the best.

I am hoping that this operation will put me in the right path to not only being a better person , but as to being a better mother. I would love to do all the things with my son that I can't do now I love you baby

It has been 2 and 1/2 months since my surgery and I am doing great. I had no complications. Came home on Sunday and started walking for 30 minutes on Monday. I have lost 62 pounds and just purchased a treadmill and I ride my exercise bike. I stopped exercising for 3 weeks because I have knee problems and my weight lose showed it. Thank God my knees are better and I am back to exercising as much as I can. Compliments are great and my social life is better because my esteem is up there and I don't want to stay home anymore like I did. Hope everyone feels like do. 12/10/04---- it has been 5 months and I am down 80 pounds WOW I am so happy now if only I can see it.


3/9/05---- Hi!!! It has been a long time. On Jan 8th I was down 90 lbs and got into a very bad car accident, that left me with broken bones in my back, whiplash in my neck and staples on the top of my head. I was in bed for over a month. I was so upset because I thought being immobile would keep me from losing weight. Well it has been 2 months and i have lost another 35 pounds. So far I have lost 125 pounds and I am going for surgery this coming Wednesday for my back. According to my Doctor this surgery should make me normal in 24 hours. I can't wait hopefully I will be able to join a gym and get rid of all this flab I have from not exercising.


3/18/05 My surgey was scheduled for the 16th but the day of sugery i woke up with VERTIGO My world was spinning in more than one way. So now I wait for this to clear and reschedule the surgery. I miss work, I miss my kids, but most of all I miss being me

4/11/05 I had my operation on Wednesday the 6th I went home 3 hours after surgery. Everyone was so surprized. I even got calls from the hospital. They were shocked that I was home. Anyway I got the ok to drive. I am driving my car just afraid to drive my bus. He wanted me to wait to go back to work, But I said I would wait 3 days and see how I felt. I am at a plateau in the the hospital the scale said I lost another 4 pounds guess it will be slow now. It is ok cause it still is coming off. Down 129 and still counting I love you baby for being there then and now..

4/13/05 I drove the bus today for the first time. Oh my God it hurts so bad but I had help and I was ok Don't think I can work. I would rather stay home and do my exercises and then lay down if I need to so I can get back to normal. I just hope he understands.

4/21/05 I am going back to work on May 2nd. Can't wait to be back and be my kind of normal. Been trying to drive a little taking pain killers once in awhile. I have so much to do and now little time to do it. My weight loss seems to be stable . Hope it starts up again. I need to see a weight loss depression is setting in.

5/07/05 Went back to work on Monday. It was ok, hurting a little after the surgery. But it feels good. I am trying to do as much as I can hoping that the more you do the better it gets and I need the exercise. Just can't jump or walk down a hill fast. I went to my son's play yesterday and All the parents and teachers told me how good I look. For the first time in years I felt good.
