hi everyone just a normal overweight guy just looking for a little support through this new life.
March 12 2004 Went to see surgeon today and had JP tube removed and found out that after being 8 days post op that i lost 21 lbs. My jaw dropped. thanks for all the help everyone. :)
March 18 2004 Took kids to doctors today and jumped on scale. 14 days post op and down 35 lbs already. I'm feeling very good today. :)
March 19 2004 Went to Dr. Pasu office today and had my staples removed great feeling he says I am doing well and I have to trust him. No complications yet knock on wood. I think i weigh 325. wooooohooooooooo!!!!!!
April 6 2004 Hello all. Went to Dr P's office today and he thinks everything is going well. Move me to stage 4 and then weighed me. i went from 362 down to 310. My Goodness I couldn't be happier!!!!!!!!!! Take care everyone
May 6 2004 Well went to PCP's office today for blood work and got on the scale....I am down to 298 and very happy about that but i just wish the energy levels would go up. But all in all very proud of the new me and very excited about what the future holds. I remember thinking to myself when I first had this done "what did I do to myself". Thinking about it now I have an answer to that question....."I made my life better." Thank you all for your support.
June 21 2004 Wow what a ride this is. I went to family doctor today and could not wait to jump on the scale (LOL). I am down to 279. Better than that, i had blood work down on the 10th of May. Everything came back normal (even cholesterol was 160). Can't wait to see where my new life takes me.
April 1 2005 I don't think anyone could have prepared my for this journey. I know its been almost a year since I have updated this thing but life has truely changed for me. Even with all the insanity thats been going on infections and kidney stones, I still would do it again. I am down to 198 and still losing and I wish I could stop now. But only time will tell. All and all I feel fantasic. Looking foward to continuing this wonderful ride. Thats all for now. Thanks for reading

When i first met Dr. Pasu I really didn't know what to expect he was so straight foward and to the point he was kind of scary. But now I am really glad i choose him. I have had a couple of scares and he has returned my phone calls in the middle of the night and seen me early the next day. His office staff is second to NONE. Everyone there is extra friendly. All the anxiety i was having was gone once i met the rest of the crew. I think Dr. Pasu is the best Dr. in our area for this surgery. I would recommend him before anyone.
