I am having the surgery on july 21st. I am very excited but scared to. I have been going to a support group for 1 year so I think what can go right with the surgery and what can go wrong. Also my faith in God helps me alot.

7-6-04 2 mores weeks until my surgery date!! I am so excited!

I am 3 weeks post-op and my recovery is going very good!! I have'nt had any problem eating. I just can't eat any thing that is crusty or raw vegetables yet. I had the open rny at the university of washington medical center and my Dr. did an excellent job. His name is Dr. Dillenger and he travels around the world and speaks on gastic by-pass surgeries. Anyway I am very happy that I had the surgery. God is truly good!!!!!
