Just wanted to give a 1 week update. I went to see my Primary Care doc this afternoon. Don't have official post-op appt with surgeon til next Thursday. Good news, I've lost 11 lbs in the week since surgery. However, I'm just getting ready to head over to the hospital to have some tests done. While at the doc's office I mentioned to him that I've been having really bad back pain since coming homing. I'm going to have some lab work done as well as a chest x-ray and vq scan of my lungs to rule out any blood clots in my lungs or kidney problems. Am keeping my fingers crossed that all will be ok. I will update once I know more. Welcome to the other side all that have recently had surgery. Good luck to all that are awaiting surgery and approval. Talk to you soon.

Hi Cheryl, I wish the best for you on your surgery, My date is the 26th, so I am right behind you. My birthday is the 24th, so I will have 2 birthdays in 2 days. I am excited for you and for me, I pray that the Lord lay his hand upon you and your surgeon. Big hugs to ya, :) Debbie H.

Dear Cheryl, Good luck with your upcoming surgery. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I had my surgery with Dr. Newhoff on Aug. 31st and feel like I'm doing great! Feel free to write to me if you have any questings or need any advise.
