Noon (ET) Tuesday 8/27/02: Spoke to Kathy, who says she has "had The Lord's peace." She wasn't even anxious going in to surgery. She sounds really wonderful! She was up yesterday (day of surgery). She has been up walking today. She is not too uncomfortable. What a trooper!!!

I spoke with Kathy late last night. She was remarkably peaceful and calm the night before her surgery. I just spoke with her again(6PM ET). She sounds incredibly well!!! She's not even nauseous. Surgery only took 1 hr, 15 min. I know she is grateful for everyone's good wishes and prayers. Please keep them coming for a smooth and uneventful recovery!

I just want to thank everyone for their kind wishes and prayers. May the Lord bless each of you. It is only one more day and I did wake up anxious today, but I am off to church to just praise the Lord and prepare my heart and mind for my important day. Again, God bless each of you.

Kathy, I just wanted to send my warmest wishes to you regarding your upcoming surgery! I want you to know that I have you and your surgeon and family in my prayers BIG TIME! I am very happy for you and I cant wait till you are living life fully, feeling satisfied and joyful all of the time! I wish you the very, very BEST! Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.
