As a post op patient, I know how difficult it can be to find a protein powder that tastes decent. I spent a lot of time and money finding the right powder for me. I would like to just take a moment to try and help anyone out possible, so that they dont have to spend all the time and money I had to. And just to cover myself, I am not tryin to sell anything. I just would like to make a suggestion for other post-ops. I used Diamond Nutrition 100% WHey protein- chocolate flavor powder. I found that this was the best tasting powder, I could even just mix it into a bottle of water and it tasted like Choc. milk. Plus, if i wanted a great boost of protein, I would add egg whites (www.lanaseggwhites.com - was the place i found them) and 5 strawberrys to the one scoop of powder and blend it up. It tasted like chocolate covered strawberries. One word- INCREDIBLE. Again I am not trying to sell anything, but I know finding good protein powder and protein shake recipes is difficult. So I just wanted to share my experience.

Surgeon: Gregg Jossart, M.D.
This is a post-op photo. The
idea of surgery hadnt crossed
my mind yet.
My first impression of Dr. Jossart was that he was very interested in how much his patience already knew and how much he wanted them to learn about this new opportunity. My impression of him overtime has only gotten better. I think he and Dr. Cirangle are busy at times but so caring and always there to immediatly assist in any way. For future patience, just know that as scary as this journey can be you are in good hands. As for aftercare, this is a lifetime change. You have the opportunity to follow the rules and get the best results and I strongly suggest that when the going gets tough and things seems gloomy, just hang in there. We all miss somethings we could have before but we all feel/look a billion times better. Overall, I would rate Dr. Jossart and Dr. Cirangle an 11. The extra point is because they are always willing to go above and beyond as doctors.
