Surgeon: Katherine Bevill, M.D.
She is very caring and knowledgeable about the surgery. She will tell you the highs and lows of everything. If you chose her, make sure you have your questions written down and ready to write the answers. She answered everyone that my family wrote down with the extras that my mother, who was with me, had added.
Insurer Info:
Blue Cross / Medicare
I had no contact with Blue Cross Blue Sheild. My doctors office faxed the information on Tuesday, July 15 and found out Thursday, July 17 that it was approved. Received a call from the doctors office on Friday, July 18 and had my Pre-Op schedualed on Friday, July 25 and my surgery for Wednesday, July 30. For the Medicare, they will not pre-approve for anything. They said they will let me know after the surgery if it will be covered.
