I have been having trouble with severe reflux almost nightly. I just had an EGD done and the surgeon said my pouch is stretched and the exit connection is huge and it is allowing alkaline bile to reflux. He recommended a revision to RNY Lap. I went from 326 lbs in 2000 down to 137 lbs in about 1.5 yrs after MGB with Dr Rutledge in NC. He no longer accepts insurance and I hate the thought of going all the way to NC again. I have recently quit smoking and have gone from my avg wt of 150 lbs up to 203 lbs. I would like the revision to stop the bile reflux and get back to 137 lbs.
I have a date, it's 6/29/04.
