2,5 years post op! Still takes my breath away when I think about how quickly it has flown by and the difference it has made to me.

I've lost 210 pounds - and have just 14 more to go to reach my ideal weight of 126 lbs.

It's been pretty tough going at times and I really have had to work hard at loosing the last 50 pounds - but I am determined to do it. My life has improved so much for the better and this keeps me motivated and encouraged. This, and this site which has been a constant friend for over 3 years. You've answered so many of my questions, you've encouraged me when I've thought that "no-one understands" and you've inspired me with all the fantastic successes from those who have walked this road before me.

I wanted to say thank you - to the friends I have made on here - to the team that put together such an informative and detailed site. I would've been a lot harder without you.

I'd love to hear from anyone who cares to drop me a line and my thoughts, prayers and very best wishes to all embarking on their new lives too.
