I am actively trying to first get the refferral for visit with a surgeon then want a surgeon who will
help me to get the approval for surgery from Cigna
HMO.

I am now 5 wks post-op and down 57lbs....yeah!
I still have a long way to go but, it is worth the effort.
I hope that all of you will give the surgery the kind of

I am now down by 150 lbs...yeah!!! I still have quite a way
to go but, the difference is amazing. I have so much more
energy and I am able to do so much now that I could not
do before the surgery...like, sit in a booth at a resturant...
I always ask for the booth seats now and I used to pray they
had a table...where the seats did not have arm rests. I love
going to the movies now...before I could not comfortably sit in
the seats there so I did not want to go....I hope that everyone
who has this surgery can have the kind of experiences that I have
had....I am so glad I made this decision....Please feel free to

Hello, sorry for the long time...I have been on the go a lot more here recently...I am really excited to say I am not -209lbs.
I can honestly say as of the last weigh in I have not even worried about the #'s..I am just really excited to have so much more energy and FUN!!! I can now do the things I used o say I would do with my friends and then would never do...like, going on overnight trips and walking and enjoying it....I used to say I would and then not because I did not have the energy..not because I was being mean...but it has really changed...I am really excitd that several more people are using Dr Kasper...he is a great surgeon..and now more people are learnig about him... and I have met many nice people through the web-site..and I wish all of you much success...Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!!! will try to post pictures soon...GOOD LUCK!!! Well, I am now 1 yr and 1 month post-op and down by 239 lbs....hope everyone has all of the great experiencesa I have had...and take full advantage of all the positive things that will come...I am really excited that it has been this short length of time and has been mor than I could have ever dreamed...again, Please feel free to ask any questions that you have for me!!!! Well, I have finally gotten below 300 lbs.....thought that would take forever....I have now lost 276 lbs....was 550 lbs before surgery and now @ 274 lbs.....seems great but, the excess skin for me is the next "BIG" step!!! I am ready for that part of it to be done.....I hope all this finds everyone doing well and prospering on your road to weight loss and maintenance. I must close for now...Good luck!! Yvette
