I have been referred by my Primary Care Physician. I am scared about going through with this, but it is time.

January 14th was my first meeting. I enjoyed the meeting everyone, especially knowing that I was not alone. There have been times when I felt as though I was the only large women. I have been struggling with my weight since the age of 10. I am now 31, and I have decide that I need to make a change. I am extremely nervous for the surgery, but I believe it is time. My husband is very supportive, although some of my family members are not. If anyone has any suggestions on how to ease my anxiety, let me know.

It is now May 26th, and my surgery is scheduled for July 11th. I will be having it at 7:15 in the morning. I am not a morning person, so that is fine with me. I am nervous, yet very excited. I am not sure what to make of it. My only problem is getting the appropriate shakes in.
