Hi I am very late in posting this due to computer problems. Surgery went off as planned with no complications and I was discharged on Nov 1. At home now resting, recuping and walking. Had a scare on the 5th when I felt some tearing pains went to the doc and all was well. Was down about 40 pounds at that point. Go back to him on the 14th. Hate the shakes am doing protien powder in yogurt. If I freeze it it is palatable. thanks for all the well wishes ron

Hi Ron! So glad to hear you have come over to the losing side! Just always remember that you are where you are supposed to be, and when things are looking dreary, "this too shall pass". You are so very lucky to have this 2nd chance in life!

Hey Ron,you are doing great! I had my open RNY last friday and just came home today, they kept me a day or two later due to making sure my lungs were clear! I'm doing great as you will be too! The gas has just started kicking in (or...should I say...OUT!) and now that I'm home the kids think it's funny! Good luck!
