Have been on some tpye of diet since I was eight years old. I have lost 100pounds three seperate times, only to gain it back. I have an eight year old daughter and would love to be able to be more active with her and set a better example for her. I have severe degenerative joint disease, especially bad in the hips, so loosing this weight will make my daily activities more enjoyable and less painful. Now that I have my surgery date scheduled I am focusing on visioning my outcome....I am so excited....soon I will be on my way to better health and less pain...Thank all who have contacted me...I have visited the photo site and it is so incouraging to see the hundreds of success stories.Today I go for my pre-op tests and final Doctor's visit before my procedure, only 7 days to go...I am so excited. My eight year old daughter is excited that her Mommie will be loosing weight...more room to sit on Mommie's lap. My friends and family have been continually supportive which helps make this decision feel like the right one..although even without their support I would be doing this for myself..Life is meant to be good..all the time and I'm taking mine back into my hands in ways I can and this is one of those ways.
