05/10/05 ~ I started this journey at 403 lbs. and progressed in a healthy way down to 316 lbs. I am more active, and I am feeling great. This surgery was the answer for me. It has given me a new lease on life, and I am grateful. I did not receive overwhelming support for my surgery but it did not matter to me - this was for me and me alone.
08/30/2006 I have no idea where 19 months of my profile went.....I am down to 241 lbs and I am support leader for barix in langhorne PA, I am trying to give back and be a part of something that really matters to me, it keeps me on track and tells me everyday that I was lost in being super obese and now I have found my life and all I want to do is keep living and along the way help others to find their holy grail on this journey.....I have seen the impossible become possible and want to be a part of that when ever i can be....it means alot to me to be there for someone that see's no hope....it fulfills me to be the best i can be when I am involved in helping just one person...that's all i ever asked....if i could save one person that believes it is not possible then I have done my job. I went through surgery with no support and it is no way to do it...I promsied myself I would never let anyone do that if I had a say in it.....surgery has been the stepping stone to a new life and thats what it is all about...getting your life back....save me now is what i was feeling and it happened...what an awesome gift.

day before surgery
I like Dr Marymor, he is very cut and dry and to the point. His office staff was good
and i never had a problem working with them.
He definitly lays out all the risk for you.
