I can't even express how shocked and impressed I am about the amounts of excercise that you do. You are my inspiration to continue with my new active life after wls. I constantly check your journal to find out more about your new adventures. Ever since you mentioned about the half marathon, you got me inspired to sign up for one. I wanted to do the Disney's half marathon in September but I found out today that it reached full capacity and it is now closed. I signed up for the 5k fun run. It is my goal to run a half marathon this year and I just need to find the right one. I am your surgery twin at clovis hospital. Remember me??? I have lost 90 lbs. but I would like to be at goal one day. I need 10 more. Our second anniversary is coming up. I went to see Dr. Felix back in Oct for plastics. He was nice, like always. I asked him about you and he said that you looked fantastic. Your picture is in his office. You are just amazing. Griselda from Merced, CA.     — Griselda T.

Hi, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because everything went fine. You'll do great. After, I was more sore than in pain. In fact my back hurt more than my incision (go figure) but it was absolutely nothing that couldn't be handled. Best of luck! I hope all your weight-loss dreams come true,     — Renee J.
