![]() | 03/16 11:52 AM Thanks to all who sent best wishes to me so quickly, I really appreciate your thoughts! Well, I'm back home after the surgery - all went well. Dr. Dirk Rodriguez (Dallas, TX)performed a hand assisted lap. bypass with successful results. The staff at Methodist Hospital in Dallas was also FANTASTIC - thanks to the entire nursing staff for making my stay as comfortable as possible. Now I'm back home in quite a bit of pain, but have the prescriptions to take the edge off. I keep thinking that this is worst I'll feel all day and that each day will get better. I've already taken a couple short walks and I know my German Shepherd will be a great reminder and motivator to make sure I walk. Thanks again for everyone's support -your prayers and best wishes were felt during my hospital stay. — Ron J. |
