It has been 8 months since my surgery and I have to say my life has been saved. I have lost 95 pounds in 8 months, have stopped taking 8 0f 9 medications (only half dose of BP med remains) I am no longer diabetic, high blood pressure has dropped to normal levels. No longer require oxygen therapy and most of all, I had a trach for three years prior to surgery and that is gone too. My breathing is normal now, sleep apnea is a thing of the past and I have more energy now that for as long as I can remember. I even fired the gardner. My BMI has dropped from 44 to less than 30 and % BF is around 26%. I am 5 pounds away from my goal weight of 215. I work out with weights 3 times a week at the local YMCA. Experienced muscle tone loss after surgery but am regaining that rapidly since sarting workouts. Thanks to Dr Coirin and his staff of professionals for helping me through this big decision and for saving my life. Tracy Crawford     — TRACY C.
