Jan this is my prayer for your succesful surgery... Dear Jesus, Be with Jan and her surgeons on her WLS date. Guide their hands and decisions. GIve them understanding beyond thier human ability. Make Your presence known to them. Keep Jan in your perfect peace. Keep her clam and centered on You. We ask You for her safety in this. Keep away infection and put health in her. You are the ALmighty God who made us. You have given us life and now you give us a second opportunity to have a full and truly abundant life. Let all of those with WLS learn to lean on YOU for our daily bread. Give Jan the chance for a great life so she can serve you in health. In Your precious name Jesus. AMEN!!! Blessing to you Jan. Thanks for keeping up on Missouri board everyday. But I hope soon you'll be just wwwwaaaayyyy to busy to do that! :>     — JenWilBeSkinE

Hi Jan, I just read your profile...wow, you have been waiting along time to have your wls. I was amazed that you are 65 because your picture sure doesn't show that you are that age. I'm 58 and just had my wls on June 27. So far so good...I've lost 36 lbs since June and am still losing. Don't worry about the surgery, God's Angels will be looking over you and protecting you. Everything will be just fine. The first day after surgery is the worst because you can't eat or drink anything until you have the x-ray that checks for any leaks...but the nurses should provide you with moist swaps prior to that. Just remember to take your chapstick with you. You'll be on the losing side before you know it, Hugs to you, Jan in TX     — Bartlettcowgirl
