Hi Joey,
I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous! Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went just fine. In fact, the week before surgery was harder than the week after. I'd say I had more soreness than pain; all completely manageable. Keep it positive. That includes having only positive people around you. The negative ones will just test your nerves. Don't forget to post your experiences to surgery pages when you feel better. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,

Hi Joey! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! Congratulations on your surgery date! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- Congratulations on your surgery date and may God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side.
