We make up a small minority of the people having Weight Loss Surgery, but tend to lose down quicker and with fewer hassles than the women due to Male Physiology. I started at 484lbs and had my lap RNY 7/16/04. I have lost 282 lbs and am getting married 3/24/07. So much has changed and I feel like a new person!! YOU WILLTOO!!! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- May God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly. We all like to see how we are doing!!! Make sure you take pictures. It’s great to see the new you emerge!!! I to have Humana but mine is PPO staff threw Hillsborough county school. I had my surgery with Dr. Murr he was fantastic. I had my surgery on March 1st of this year and I am down 78 lbs and feeling awesome. I belong to a group thats on yahoo. shoot I cant remember the name of it but I think I have seen you there. Do you call your self santa? Anyways I am not sure what an Angle does on Obesity help.com but I would be willing to chat and support you in anyway possible. Just let me know.
