~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all . God Bless and keep you well.

Hi, this is lisa's brother in law Eric. She asked me to post this. She had two blood clots discovered. One is in her leg the other is in her lung. They moved her to ICU and have given her blood thinners. They just decided she needs to have a filter put in. They are going in through the groin. Her surgery sites are doing well otherwise. Please keep her in your prayers. I will update as soon as we here more.

In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.

Hi Lisa thanks so much for the encouraging email. I am a bit nervous about my upcoming surgery but I am more nervous dieing at an early age due to obesity. I also have 2 kids. They are 9 and 16. I have a wonderful husband who like your fiancee would like nothing better than for me to not to have this surgery. He is supporting me don't get me wrong but he is scared. I am now counting the days. I, like you have great confidence in Dr. Von Reuden. I liked everything about him. I have 2 friends who had surgery with Dr. Williams and they look and feel great. They love him too. I believe the choice for a surgeon is a personal one. I will post on my site as soon as I have some post op information. Bethann is supposed to come visit me in the hospital. Maybe my husband could e mail you with my condition and you could post it for me? Just an idea. Well thanks again and good luck to you. you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Lisa, I read your post about the Phillies game, I too was there, I got there late and had to park MILES away, we were in section 247, row 1. I will tell you, this time last year, I probably would have turned around and gone hom b/c of the walking and the crowds or never even have gone at all b/c sitting in that tiny seat with my 300+ lbs would have been awful. Well, I am 7 1/2 mos post-op, down 107lbs and let me tell you, since i got there late and didn't want to miss the first pitch, I RAN, I JOGGED and I got there on time. Think of this surgery as that long walk/jog to Veterans Stadium or your seat in the 700 level, you will get there, it will take some time and it will be hard but, you will get there and it will be worth it. Just as it was seeing Jim Thome smack that triple during his first AB on Opening Day. Wasn't it great, good luck to you. Heather (Open RNY 8/15/02 305/198/150)
