Brenda, I wish you all the best with your surgery tomorrow. I hope everything goes great and that you have good luck and good health with your recovery. The first 2 weeks are the toughest after an open but it will get a little better each day. Move around as much as possible. It really does help with the recovery. A WLS friend,

Brenda~~~~HI! Wanted to introduce myself. I live in New Lebanon, OH and I am having surgery at the Baritric Treatment Center in Grove Port, OH, on Feb 6th. I live only about 10 min from the hospital where you are having you surgery.***Here's to a quick happy recovery. As YOUR day comes and goes...Remember to walk, walk, walk, drink, drink, drink and cough, cough, cough. Use the incentive spirometer no matter how much you hate it. Many prayers sent your way. The day you go for surgery I'll be having my first appointment with my surgeon. I'll be thinking about all of the people having surgery that day. Here is my wish for you: That your surgeon is at the top of his game, you have minimal pain & a quick recovery, with a steady weight loss to your best weight. ;-)

Brenda, Congratulations on your surgery date! Way to go! I had my surgery on 11/1/01 and have lost almost 50lbs...this surgery is pretty darned amazing. Try not to be too nervous, just have faith in God and your surgeon. Best of luck to you, keep us posted.
