Kelly, We all remember that pre-op stress of "the last meal". I laugh now because post-op I eat everything I did pre-op just in small portions. Pre-op I really thought my eating days were over and I binged on my favorites a month before surgery. Not too smart. Just added more weight to loose. I assure you, in a few months you will have a nice Italian dinner and popcorn once again. You will eat a few bites and feel like you had a full plate. I never feel deprived! I say get some chicken marsala tonight and tell the popcorn you'll see it in a few months!     — Michelle H.

Kelly, I too had the whole "lets say goodbye to all the foods I won't ever be able to eat after surgery" thing going on before surgery. But now that I'm ten months out, I realize that was so unnecessary. I can eat anything I want, I just eat so much less and am satisfied. This surgery doesn't forbid you to ever have your favorite things. Have whatever you feel like tonight, enjoy your husband's company, and know that in about 6 months you'll be feeling terrific and can eat anything you want in moderation. Good luck to you.     — [Anonymous]

Everyone Thank You so much for you prayers and support. I'm not nervous, yet...LOL but I assume it will hit me soon..My husband is taking me out for my last meal tonight..Olive Garden,,,But I am thinking I am changing my mind on that last meal..I think I will miss having popcorn at the movies more than Olive Garden...So all you Post Op's let me know..in your opinion which should I have tonight..movie with popcorn or a nice dinner with dessert?? And no I cant have both..LOL     — Kelly L.
