I thought that this day would never come and I am sure that you felt the same way too, but in a day, and two weeks for me, it will. I would love to hear back from you after surgery to see how it went, since our dates are so close. Good luck to you! You will be in my prayers! -

Rock on HM! I met with my doc recently and hopefully will go under the knife by August. I know what you mean "overweight all my life." I remember when I was 5 years old, stepping on one of those nickle scales at Macy's and pushing the thing right up to 95 lbs. When I was 7 going on 8, my family sent me to fat camp in the hills of Mass. I weighed in on my first day at 177 lbs. Today, just a few days from 30, I'm coming in at 385 lbs. I'm really excited about my surgery. I've tried everything else and failed. For me this is it. There is nothing else. There's no other way I'll ever be able to lose 200 lbs and keep it off. 200 lbs! That's crazy! Anyway, you'll do great my man. there are a lot of great people here like Doug Wilson who will support you. I'm real proud of you for taking this step, HM. It's scary, yes, but you owe it to your Temple. Keep on rockin' brother! - DJ, AMDG

Hi Herschel
"Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, any one can start from now and make a brand new ending."
May you always have an Angel by your side. Watching out for you in all the things you do. Reminding you to keep believing in brighter days. Have a safe journey to the other side and a speedy recovery
