I am Mary's angel for her surgery that was scheduled for this morning and I have called the hospital in California and she is in ICU 11 and they would not release any information to me since I was not family. I called her home and got only an answering machine. I would really appreciate any prayers sent Mary's way. I am her ANGEL and want to send word out of this. I will update as soon as I can get more information. God Bless Each of You!     — LindaKM

Hi Mary I know all to well how you are feeling. You didn't say when you're having your surgery. Just think about how much better you are going to feel and how you will be able to do many more things with your children. The closer I get to my surgery date...the more confident I become. 2 weeks ago each day I'd say to myself. " I'm going on a strict diet and I won't need this surgery". I would stick to the diet for maybe 2 days. Are you able to talk with your doctor? Has he answered all your questions? This site is awesome and anything you want to know all you have to do is ask. But, you should feel really good about your surgeon. If not maybe you need to change. Mary being over weight we are all at risk of dying or having a stroke. I've been told when it's all said and done we will ask ourselves what took us so long to get this surgery. Or should I say our "New Lease on LIfe". We can do this Mary!! Hang in there and think about the positives. P     — PatsyB

~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it.
