Surgery Type: Laparoscopic RNY
While-in-surgery Contact Info: No surgery date yet but i did get my letters from my regular doctors today that will be sent by dr K to the insurance hopefully they approve fast i would love to have my surgery before i start working. 10/11/04 had my dietician appointment and psych eval last thursday and friday. the dietician gave me some wrong info like that i should have ensure after surgery so i told mary right away when i talked to her friday now i sit and wait for the insurance to approve me.... i hope they dont make me wait to long my asthma gets bad in the winter and i want to be on the road to recovery from surgery befor christmas if possable. I FINALLY HAVE A DATE YAYYYYY ill be at St. vincents in green bay and am very nervous now.

Well, itís official! Youíre on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming Ė all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! Congratulations on your surgery date! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- May God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Donít forget to update your profile at least monthly. We all like to see how we are doing!!! Make sure you take pictures. Itís great to see the new you emerge!!! Not to mention the look on YOUR face when you look at those pictures and compare them in a few months! Itíll be a BIG WOW!!! Please remember too, that this is a *tool* to use. Just a quick note to let you know that I'll be thinking of you on your very special and life changing day and I wanted to be one of many to say Congratulations! My thoughts and prayers are with you for a safe and speedy recovery. I'm a FIRM believer that positive attitudes and thoughts and a good sense of humor can be a big help in getting those results. You're about to be blessed with a second chance to live a healthier and thinner life......Watch out world, WLS surgery will set you free and the sky is the limit! ........ This surgery has been nothing short of a miracle for me and I will be forever grateful. I've lost 230 lbs and have been at goal for a year now. ~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, Iím off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeonís hands and you have a speedy recovery. .
