Dr. Yamini is a Southern California native with a surgical specialty in cosmetic surgery and offices in Beverly Hills. Dr. Yamini is one of the most highly trained surgeons in Southern California and known for cutting edge techniques in all aspects of cosmetic surgery. His extensive training includes eight years of plastics and surgical training, followed by a highly coveted advanced aesthetic fellowship by the world-renowned Hollywood cosmetic surgeon, Richard Ellenbogen, MD. Along with another Ellenbogen protégé, these three doctors have formed an elite ‘Dream Team’ of Hollywood surgeons who run a very unique practice on the famed Sunset Boulevard. Dr. Yamini has gained a special interest in treating previously obese patients who require unique plastic surgery to improve their body image. During his plastic surgery training in Michigan where there is a significant demand for obesity procedures, Dr. Yamini mastered the art of circumferential lipectomies, more commonly known as body lifts. Dr. Yamini utilizes a variation of the traditional Lockwood procedure to address the laxity of the upper and lower body at the same time—achieving a “total body lift.” He is one of a handful of surgeons in this region who has significant experience with this procedure and has presented his work at scientific meetings. Dr. Yamini also has substantial experience with rejuvenating the inner thighs using the medial thigh lift.

Besides performing major body contouring, Dr. Yamini specializes in breast enhancement after weight loss, as well as facial aesthetics, including enhancing the face, neck, and jawline with minimal incisions. These procedures can tremendously improve the appearance of a previously obese patient who might have sagging skin.
