| Comments: | I interviewed several Plastic Surgeons (and thought I had made a selection) before I met Dr. Brahme. I felt so comfortable with him, and his prices were so competitive, that I decided to have him do my abdominoplasty and brachioplasty. The procedures went very well and I was amazed by the results! I had expected that all the loose skin on my tummy would be gone, but when the dressings were removed on my hips, I couldn't believe the difference. The love handles were gone. I was svelt. 30 years of exercise could not achieve what Dr. Brahme did with a snip snip. I returned to Dr. Brahme later for a breast lift and augmentation. This procedure also went very well, but unfortunately, during the surgery he found a lump, which turned out to be breast cancer. Dr. Brahme was one of my main supporters during this difficult time, and I was very fortunate that my HMO then contracted with him to do the breast reconstruction following my modified radical mastectomy. Dr. Brahme is a most caring and compassionate man as well as a gifted Plastic Surgeon. He saved my life. I would encourage you to consult with him if you are in the San Diego area. I also found the follow-up care at Smoot and Brahme to be excellent, and his hard-working, efficient, friendly staff are always willing to answer questions and do whatever they can to be helfpful.
