Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

Hi my name is shawn I am 43 years old as of tommorow one week ago I had bypass surgery I have struggled with my weight since sincewhen I got out of the marines weighing 221 lbs I have gained 270 lbs in 20a years I am very active hunting fishing working road const but no matter what I do I gain. So I got the surgery I am so looking forward to a new life knowing I can't sit down eat a pizza binge or eat 3 helpings at dinner my wife is a big support and is also looking forwaed to our healthier life

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Not being able to find clothes or. To take my daughter to the movies and set in the chairs comfortably

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

I have never let my weight hold me back I love hunting and fishing being from northern mn but will be glad to do these thingsbwithout being out of breath it makes me sad to think I used to run 5 miles aday its been 20 months since surgery I weigh 238 feelin awesom and all is good
