myJourney - Now Faster and Easier to Browse

On Thursday, January 19th we released the new myJourney feature, one of the most powerful ways to spread awareness about obesity, the weight loss surgery process and outcomes. We're proud to see each of you stepping up to show the world just how much you care about ending stigma, discrimination and prejudice against the obese community.

Today, we've launched updates to make it faster and easier for you to browse myJourney!  Our biggest change is to the interface, we’ve made it a lot more visual.  You can see an entire page of journeys at one time. If there are more journeys available, you will see a "Show More" button at the bottom that will quickly push out more for you to view.

We've also added filters.  Now you have a quick way to sort the myJourney feature, there are filters available based on surgical status, surgery type and gender. With a couple of clicks, you can drill down and find others that may share a similar history as you.

If you like to browse through each journey one at a time, the Previous and Next buttons are still available for you to utilize.  Don’t forget that we only highlight 3 questions but many times people answer other questions too, look for the “show more answers” to see what else people are sharing!

We’re pleased to let you know that myJourney is our first mobile friendly section on the website! Keep an eye out for future updates, where we’ll be making more of ObesityHelp.com easier to access via your mobile.

Don't know how to set-up a blog or web site, but the good news is that I got a call from Swedish Hospital for an initial counseling & fact-finding session on May 17, 2012. Yes!
