This was taken late in the afternoon....it was NOT dark out....The light from the shuttle was so bright it blacked out everything else. What a glorious view this was. I grew up across the river from the Space Center on Cape Canaveral.

It amazes me that it was not dark out....you would not believe the light that comes off the shuttle....it was late afternoon, not dusk, not twilight....but it sure looks dark. Hugs Charlie
