At the Northwestern Medicine Weight Loss Surgery Program, our surgeons and team are here to help if you are looking for a solution with obesity. Since 1999, the Weight Loss Surgery Program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital has provided care to more than 5,000 patients for whom non-surgical treatments have failed to provide sustained weight loss. We are proud to have been named a nationally accredited bariatric surgery program by the American College of Surgeons and the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program. (MBSAQIP) This designation is awarded to comprehensive programs with a proven record of favorable outcomes for weight-loss surgery.

Our Northwestern Medicine Weight Loss Surgery Program is led by the expertise and experience of board-certified surgeons, Dr. Alex Nagle, Dr. Eric Hungness, and Dr. Ezra Teitelbaum.
