  • About Me

    Dr. Andre Nunn has been serving the Detroit, MI area for over 12 years. He specializes in minimally invasive bariatric surgery including Laparoscopic Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass and Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Band surgery, having performed several hundred of these procedures. He currently performs surgery with the Barix Clinics Program at Forest Health Medical Center in southeast Michigan. Prior to joining with Barix Clinics, Dr. Nunn was the founder of Detroit Bariatrics.

    Dr. Nunn has served as a clinical professor of surgery since 2000. He has earned numerous honors including the Wayne State Department of Surgery Theodore McGraw Clinical Faculty Teaching Award in 2001. Dr. Nunn was also honored as one of Hour Magazine's "Top Doctor's in     Detroit" in 2003.

    Join Dr. Nunn at one of his group consultations to learn about weight loss surgery, the difference between weight loss surgical procedures and how your life may benefit from bariatric surgery.

    The group consultations take place in his offices in Ypsilanti, MI and allow time for Q&A during each of the sessions.
